Description

This second installment of the online Lunchtime lecture series will be on "Contractual practices and the FIDIC Emerald book". 

The session will include: a case study from a contractor,  lectures on the FIDIC Emerald book, and a Q&A session to finish.

  1. Contractor Case study, involving differing ground conditions in the US and a successfully avoided dispute
  2. Emerald Book, general introduction to concepts (Matthias Neuenschwander, M.Sc., MD Neuenschwander Consulting Engineers, Bellinzona, Switzerland, Animateur WG3)
  3. Emerald Book: the Geotechnical Baseline Report and the concept of unforeseeable physical conditions (Hannes Ertl, Mag., CEO, D2 Consultants, Linz, Austria, Chair of joint FIDIC-ITA Task Group 10)

Please note: The first presentation by the contractor will not be recorded, and therefore not available in the recording of the session sent out to participants after the event. We therefore advise you to watch the event live if possible!
